John Valve's casting foundry was approved as the Approved Material Manufacturer on November 19, 2001.

The material manufacturer has established and applies a Quality Management System according to Annex I, par. 4.3. The system was audited according to the European Directive 97/23/EC for Pressure Equipment, with regard to the scope of approved materials as listed in the standard of EN-1503.
